Today we welcomed our favourite superhero ‘Recycle Man’! Recycle Man educated our young children on the importance of Recycling as well as having sustainable practices in our everyday lives. Recycle Man engaged with our children, and our children were so enthusiastic to learn by stories, music, interactive and hands on activities, and themselves becoming recycling superheros!
Teaching sustainability to young children is crucial to ensure that children connect and contribute to their wider world. Children learning sustainable practices allows them to maintain their own wellbeing, and wellbeing of their plant in their interconnect world. Children become aware of their influence on the world and so hold control over their influence. Learning about sustainability and caring for their environment provides today’s children the self-sufficiency they need for their world tomorrow!
