Easter celebrations provide a worthwhile opportunity to encourage cultural awareness amongst our children and teach them about various cultural practices.
By incorporating Easter festivities within our intentional teaching program and play based learning, our children became more engaged and eager to improve their language, literacy and numeracy skills. The children also enjoyed exploring their creative and imaginative skills while using recycled milk bottles to make their own Easter baskets. Promoting sustainability amongst young children is a must, even throughout festivities!
And, of course, Easter celebrations would not complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny!
