We had a fantastic STEM workshop with SuperBowling today!
The children became coding experts as they instructed their very own robots to overcome obstacles to knock down bowling pins.
This was a valuable addition to our program, it assisted in teaching basic motion codes (Forward, Backward, Right, Left, Go…), develops problem solving skills when planning their robot’s routes, develop logical thinking skills when coding and visualises coding by watching real robots execute coded instructions. The children also developed confidence in engaging with technology for learning and play, as well becoming effective communicators.
Our children responded to the challenge, increasing their self confidence in their abilities. They were very excited to participate and definitely felt a sense of achievement when they knocked down the bowling pins.
