Book Week 2024 – ‘Reading is Magic!’
This theme reflects how stories can transport children’s mind, and storytelling can open children’s imagination to a new worlds!
This past week the children have enjoyed is literacy and language activities, which have so many benefits for a child’s growth and development including; comprehension and listening, memory recall, creativity and imagination, language acquisition, etc.
The children have also been excited to come to school in their costumes and show their costumes to teachers and friends!
We also joined Hurstville Library for a special story time in celebration of Book Week, where the children enjoy stories, role play and arts and crafts.
We look forward to continuing literacy and language learning in the coming weeks!
