Today we welcome Healthy Harold to Kidz on the Avenue for a second time!
We completed the SuperSafe Harold Module, which extended upon our centre program, learning all about sun safety, water play, car and road safety, cybersafety and being safe around medication!
Having Life Education come in further promotes and support’s children taking increasing responsibility for their own health and physical wellbeing. The children’s used their cognitive minds to discuss and distinguish safe and unsafe behaviours.
The children also learnt about safety in the wider world, and who to call if they are in an emergency, including the police, firefighters and the ambulance.
We ended our experience patting the friendly giraffe and telling him what we learnt about safety!
