This week is National Recycling Week! And the perfect opportunity to announce that Kidz on the Avenue will be doing its best to go PAPERLESS!
This past week at Kidz on the Avenue, children have been actively learning about how be more sustainable and environmentally conscious. Through various intentional teaching methods and activities children have had the opportunity to discover ways they can contribute to sustaining the environment.
The children had learned which waste products go into which type of bin, and the importance of making the right decisions. They also were excited to use recycled materials to make their own creations, showing them how we can re-use resources and reduce our impact on the environment.
We will definitely be continuing to incorporate sustainable practices within our educational program in the time to come!
