The Hatch N Grow Program at Kidz on the Avenue was a success for yet another year. We were delivered 10 eggs which hatched into beautiful chicks! Children were excited to witness the hatching and life cycle of a chicken, with them coming to check on their little chicks as soon as they walked through the door!
This learning experience was supported by program where children learnt through fine motor activities, music and movement, literacy and creative art.
This unique, hands-on experience, which included touching and patting the chicks, helped our children gain an understanding of empathy, compassion and kindness. Young children have curious minds, and must be given opportunities to explore, discover and appreciate the wider world!
