We had a fantastic Science Week filled with curiosity, hands-on learning and plenty of fun! Our children explored a range of exciting experiments, including dancing sultanas, colourful Skittles in warm water and an erupting volcano.
We also put on our thinking caps and became little engineers, building bridges with popsicle sticks and cups for our animal friends. We got creative building with marshmallows and toothpicks, exploring balance, shapes and stability.
These experiences gave the children opportunities to make predictions, ask questions, observe changes and learn through trial and error. They also supported important skills such as problem-solving, fine motor development, communication, creativity and teamwork.
We also had lots of fun during our Supercody Robotic Bowling Workshop, where the children explored technology and robotics while developing their coordination, problem-solving skills and confidence through play.
Science is an important part of early learning as it encourages children to be curious about the world around them, explore new ideas and develop a love of learning that can grow with them!
