Today the bees and butterflies made their way to Hurstville Library! We gathered around and read some new exciting stories
The bees and butterflies then chose their own stories to read in the library. We also had an exciting walk around of the library, and the children’s favourite was the Media Lab, where we got to see where different shows and podcasts are filmed, as well as all the different equipment and instruments.
Following our library visit, we made a stop next door to the Aquarium, and the children enjoyed saying hello to the fishes!
This was a great day to build connections with our local community, helping children develop a strong sense of belonging. Fostering community connections is such an important part of a child’s growth and development! We are looking forward to future excursions!
